Here I am... late on a Tuesday night.
But it was a lovely, lovely day, that I just have to write about. It started a little strange, because... (the long version: I transferred old texts of mine off a diskette, and was reading through them, and read through the old Senda e-mails, and, because of this...) I had a very weird dream. It started normal, but in the end, I was doping up a narcotic woman, who turned out to be dead, and only a figment of my sick imagination, and all of this was while hoping the Son would be no problem in my plan for technology sabotage/spying.
No, I have no idea at all where all of that came from. It was really out of this world.
So... once I woke up, and shook these mad images from my mind, I went to an average training, and then a short rehearsal at the theater. and THEN... I went to Paderborn. (And here, I hope to eventually put in a link to my "off I go to Paderborn" poem... which is only started.) Why Paderborn? I had a performance there that evening, and there is a very good, interesting friend I have there. (For artistic reasons, her hair is technically brown, so if need be, I call her the ... (let me think,) Muse with brown hair? OK.)
Anyhow, she showed me around the town, and I was quite taken with the cathedral, (though I've known better, it was still wonderful to see.) There was also a square in the centre of the city (which was actually a circle,) with a pleasant fountain. And all of this was in the most beautiful, warm sunshine. (Right! there was also Ice-cream, mint (yummy) and Lemon (Very yummy.)) You just need to imagine the first hot, clear day of the year, to understand the feeling I had.
I've left the best part of the day for last though: The Bucherei. That's a Library. It was in a university, and it was lovely, and large, and it had that library smell, and it had lots and lots of English books!!! (which the libraries of Detmold don't.) So... the very first author I checked, to see what books of his they had, (Kurt Vonnegut, if you're interested,) there were 2 books by him I'd never even heard of! (And I've read 8 or 9 of his works, I think.)
So... I very happily spent the 2 hours of Brown-hair's lecture reading short stories from "The Bogembago Snuff box" (Approximate title.) He's a Great author, and very thought provoking. (The three thoughts I was presented with are... not to be told here, but in the Book Reviews. ) Well, when I only had 5 minutes left, I went and saw what kind of books they had on (Math stuff:) -Complex analysis, and/or complex functions of one or more variables. (This is a subject I started studying in Toronto, and have never found a book to finish learning about it.) And there were PLENTY of books on these subjects there. It was great.
I really hope that my Brown-haired muse wasn't offended that I showed more excitement after the library, than I had at any point in my hours with her. It... was just so awkward: because she is attractive, and I don't want to seem stupid (particularly with over-energetic expressions.) The books... took my mind utterly off myself, and toped off such a wonderful day... that I couldn't help myself from bubbling with joy.
The only thing that happened after that worth noting, is that before my performance (An Operetta,) I had a sandwich from "SubWay." This was a thrill for me, because I've always liked them, and missed them a bit, and it was SO good to eat one of their 30 cm, (A Foot-long, to us of North America,) Whole-wheat salad-loaded club-sandwich.
And that us my whole day. Add on an hour at the computer, and the hope that the pictures I took today turn out nice, and you have the full picture.
Now, I sleep! Oh dear, yes...
