Dear... dear...
deary deary me: Who SHALL I write to now?
I don't know. I just need to space out for a bit, and let my fingers go wild on the key-board. My day here in Dermold hasn't been TOO hard, but it's generally long. And then there's a few hours every afternoon, between morning and evening rehearsals, where there's nothing to do. My problem is: I have Nothing to do, during those times. I have no computer, no sewing maching, no Math books, no Libraries full of literature (in English,) no friends with free time, and so on and so on.
Anyhow, "Bus Station," the first Ballet-Evening here, is coming along nicely, and all shall be ready for my premier in it on Saturday. There are some fun parts in it for me:
"Have you Ever Loved a Woman?" is one song, that I have a solo to, Where I'm bugging this other guy, who just finished an intamite duet. "nudge-nudge, wink-wink" kind of thing.
"Lady in Red", where I'm half fantisizing my partner, and dreaming her into existance.
"La Bomba", where I'm a total "Gino," as the Frenh say it. "Bling-Bling" I've also heard it called. It's just strutting around, and ... Dancing with my Hips. (Imagine ME doing that! Innocent little ME!!)
And in case it was not as obvius as I suppoesed, the whole thing is set as if at a bus-stop. So it's a cross-section of the bus-riding population. "Character Sketches in motion"? Could I put it like that?
Anyhow, it is kind of similar to Dirty Laundry, which I did back in Victoria. (The First Payed engagement I ever had.)
So... from the looks of this, it seems that this might be best suited for Michelle... make that for You! Michelle! And if you have the impetus, (and you still get to the studio... I don't know ANYTHING about your life at present,) you could maybe print this out and pass it on to anyone who's so old, that they remember who I am.
So.. what ARE you up to these days? Are you still on The Island? (I actually have a hard time imagining you anywhere else.) Are you still in touch with any of the old.. "gang?" K. and .. and... ("What IS his name???") David? Mark? JOHN? I've heard from K. now and then, about moving up and having the Barn, and the Donkey, and building a boat... I think.
And perhaps I should be writting to her, instead of typing to you.. but it's too late now.
